As a tribute to the toils and hardships of Asian Americans in the United States, 1882 is a reflection of the events that transpired in a movement that largely began during the California Gold Rush. The name 1882 is derived from the monumental Chinese Exclusion Act signed in 1882 which severely restricted the entry of any Chinese workers, both skilled and unskilled. Here are four t-shirts designed by prominent Asian members of the streetwear community including Eddie of (Commune) and Arnold of Greyone. Available now at select retailers including 5& A Dime, Bowls, Fresh, and Laced LV. Courtesy of Hypebeast.com Photobucket Photobucket Photobucket Photobucket Photobucket Photobucket -Tom
